Can you hardwire an aeroforce scan gauge?
I searched this forum & their website, install manual & forum but can't find an answer.
Can you hardwire an aeroforce scan gauge so it doesn't take up the OBD2 port? I kind of need that for scanning track runs with tuning software. I know I could just unplug it and plug it back in, but that seems kind of annoying.
I was mainly confused because it's a four pin connector on the gauge side, and 8 pin connector on the DLC side
Input?

Please let me know what the response to this questino is because I may neeed to hardwire two scan gauges to my 98 Camaro LS1 also. Also, if anyone knows about the viability of using the scan gauge on a 2006 Ford 6.0 Diesel, please let me know. Thanks, Michael.

Brent Franker hard wired his scan master into his port. This may or may not help but at least we may be on the right track.

Scroll down a little bit past his links into the actual install. Sorry if I was totally off base.
