Your stripes look OK in the photo, I bet they look better in person. Your Camaro is a head-turner for sure. I love 35th anniversary stripes, but there are plenty of those out there. I like your originality, it has a less-refined, more muscle-car look to me. If you want a change, you might try one thing, a 1/4" pinstripe (same color, I can't tell if your stripes are black or blue) around your stripes. You should be able get tape at your local Auto Zone and spend an hour or so playing with it. If you like it, either keep what you did, or get a pro to do the whole car, if not, rip it off and call it a day. I ran my stripe without the pin for a while and then got a pro to redo the whole car with a new stripe and added the bird. He adjusted the width of the stripe and pin to exactly what I wanted. It is nice to have a friend in that business, he only charged me for the materials!

Some folks love it, some hate it, but I get awards at shows and it looks like I want it to.

here is mine without a pin stripe

and with it

^^^^ Not feeling the shaker.. Maybe you could have done something with it so there is some red on it, and that "might" help..

Also you now have two white birds on the front of your car? The plate filler and the hood? Just not feeling that.. But its your car and if you're winning awards then what do I know?? haha

EDIT: Just looked at the pic by your name and see that you got rid of the plate filler white bird.. smart decision and this doesn't make it look like too many white birds..

Sorry, didn't mean to highjack the thread...

Yea, both birds being white would be too much and I wanted the retro bird. I understand the shaker is not for everyone, but I love it and couldn't imagine my car without it. I originally had it red, but when I added the stripe, it had to go white. I am slowly copying the Heritage Trans Am.

jk, i think your stripe looks "ok" too and yea the pin stripe around it made it look a lot better imo.

I don't really like them. Solid stripes don't look good on our cars IMO. They need to be Rallye style stripes.

i voted great. i like seein somethin different than usual. i usually dont like solid stripes on f-bodies but u pull them off

the only thing i would do is make the distance between your grill and stripes equal to the distance between the two stripes if possible. i think it would make it look a little more fitting

I think the stripes are ok, they just seem to be too much when you already have the side skirts/bodykit.

I'd say the stripes would look much better if you lost the bodykit, I'm feelin thats what makes it look a bit off

But, your car and just my IMO, so whatever you like goes, g'luck with it

I voted that they look great, and I give you props for thinking outside the box. I will, however, agree with Raleigh TA and say that it would look better with a pin stripe around the stripes. I love the color of the stripes, too, and how it looks with the body kit. I think it's sharp looking, and if I saw your car driving down the road right behind another Camaro without a body kit and the stripes every other camaro has, I'd definately see your car before I saw the other one.

If you like them leave them on. Do not change the appearance just because someone else doesn't like it. I personally did not think they looked that bad, I myself would not put stripes on my car but you have to figure out what you like.

They look ok. I think they are too block like and don't glow the greatest with the lines of your car, but aren't that bad. If you like them don't take them off because they aren't so bad they make the car look bad.
