Default Chrome or Polished Hood Lift Shocks???

Does anybody know of anyone that makes chrome or polished hood lift struts for our cars? I have seen them for Vettes but not for F-Bodies. If not can a stock set be chromes....I am not sure since they are gas filled. I am getting ready to send a bunch of under hood pieces off next week so if they can be chromed I might see about getting them done too.

If you sand & polish, make sure you clearcoat to prevent rust. After polishing it will be bare steel.
(I've also seen people buy the metal tape product & wrap them, & put the seam along the back side so it's not too noticeable.)
