Default Need Some Engine Bay Clean Up Ideas

Here is what my motor looks right now as it stands... I am ashamed to show it off compared to some members on here. So i am asking for some help. Here is the theme of my car. Black and Red.

My ideas so far:

-Some how install my catch can better? Any ideas???
-Take the silver decals off my lid
-Paint my FRCs.. I have no idea what color yet. All Black, All Red and paint the CORVETTE Black or visa versa??
-!WIRE MOD
-Paint Calipers Black.. (Part of theme)
-Black TTMs (Part of theme)
-STB.. Black or Red?
-SS covers for fuse box, battery etc...
-Polish A/C canister
-Paint radiator support glozz black
-Paint LS6 intake.. What color Red or Black??? I dunno even now how to take it off

Thanks for your ideas.....

what color for the FRCs and STB????
Black on both. I'd only paint the LS6 intake if you're going to paint it other than black or red.

I would go with polished or chrome tt's. That is just my opinion because for the most part I hate black rims. Also, I don't know how much it would cost, but I think black rims might look good with a red painted lip, you don't see that too much on fbodys. Paint the intake black, I think red will give it too much red. Also, if you are going to paint the engine stuff black, you might wanna consider the black ss covers for the fuse box or whatever you said. Just my thoughts. Good luck!

IMO, why paint the intake black if its already black to begin with? Paint it close to black maybe... This is mine btw.

My theme is Pewter and black and I thought it was such a waste to color the intake black over black.

I'm not saying paint it like mine, but do whatever you think your color theme suits you.

Paint your coil packs red and the valve covers black, also polish up the AC canister and stuff like that.

Keeping it simple is the best advice I can give you.

What I would do:
Paint your intake a Silver Aluminum color to match your engine
Remove the decals
Coil Relocation
Red Anodized Fuel Rails (Gives it a look that says, "I mean business."

Should i get CORVETTE filled in red? Or do the whole thing black and shave the CORVETTE down and get rid of the lines?

i would suggest doing what ive done (since my car is red also):
-polsihed a/c and ABS
-FRCs, filled and painted red
-manifold left unpainted(too much if the FRCs are painted too)
-!wire, !traction control, !hood latch, !grounds

plus I would relocate the catch can to a better place. that just seems like its slapped on there.

I will be polishing the ABS and A/C stuff...
I will get the FRC painted red, and fill in the CORVETTE.
I will be doing the wire mod. I have no traction control and where can i put the grounds at?

Yes you can. I use the same stuff. A 2000 grit sand paper will come in handy. And meguiars hot rims works very good.
