Default Mecham Oval tips or no?

So I'm tired of my Hooker tips and I and trying to find a nice set with a rolled edge that aren't Corsa or Corsa clones, because that price is ridiculous. I really like the dual/dual tips from Autozone (yes I said Autozone) but when I went to buy them they had stopped making them. The Autozone tips look like this:

Or I was thinking about getting the Mecham oval tips, which would be a lot more expensive, but might look better. Here is how my rear end looks now:

Any suggestions?

I really like the autozone tips. Someone just posted last night pics of the autozone tips they just purchased. If you look you can still find that thread from last night.

The AZ tips have been discontinued, no longer available unless you go there with the part number, get the counterman to search other sister stores to see if one still has them...

I don't think you can go wrong with either to be honest... yours doesn't look bad now though

That would be me. The tips are really awesome. I got lucky and got the last two from Amazon.com. Good luck finding them anywhere, though. I had to search for a while and could only find them on Amazon. Like LT1-DAN said, get ahold of Dansredz28. He is trying to sell his for $30+shipping. Someone else, in my thread, said they found them at Pep Boys. But, they paid $40 each for them. If you can get lucky and find them at Autozone, they're only $23 each. So, if you've got a few in your area, or somewhat close, you may want to go and get them before someone else does, if it's not already too late.

The AutoZone tips look good. I'm not really a fan of the Mecham Ovals.

Pypes makes a mecham style tip that is much better quality. I think it is 6.5" or 7" wide

You might be able to get Mecham style tips from Pro Dyno in Tempe, Arizona. They made the tips for Mecham. When I bought mine they were ~$30 cheaper than buying them from Mecham.

It been many years since I got them but you can call them and see if they still produce them.

Those tips are ugly!

I like your tips. Get a pic of them from an angle instead of straight into the tips. Wait around on here for awhile and you'll find someone who is selling some corsa clones or something along the line for cheap. I bought mine from Josh awhile ago for 110. I think there was a set of them for 89 bucks here recently! I like your tips tho!

Those Mecham tips look way nicer than Corsa's IMO.
