Default Feel like a noob asking but...

i cant figure out how to take off my shift ***! please dont bash for the stupid question but i want to put on my cue ball!!! any suggestions please?

just unscrew it. Lefty loosie. Its is an M6 right? if its an A4 pull the little clip out at the bottom of the shifter and it will come right off.

yep twist left, might need something to really grab the **** the cover could be slipping over the ball underneath

when i did my shifter swap, my **** was so tight i just waited till i got the stock stick/**** off and put the stick in a vice and unscrewed the **** with no problem.

if ya dont wanna do that and dont care about f'in up your current ****, grab ahold of it with some channel locks and twist that bad boy off.

To keep from damaging the ****, use a microfibre cloth with the channel lock or a rubber strap wrench. Can't imagine that being any more than hand tight. Even with a broken wrist, I could still two hand the damn thing off.

if its an 8ball from pepboys or autozone or something like that it wont fit on teh stick. the thread is too fat for the 8ball and you will only be able to force the thread down like a turn or two.

no its a whiteball from hurst and it fits perfect, the stock *** had a small dab of super glue on it but just a little muscle and it came right off.
