Added a new stable mate! OK- so its not an LS1... yet 
but its a great starting point for my next project 
1969 Stingray. Right now, its just a smallblock genI 350 with a 3 speed auto. It runs and drives great. Its a perfect cruiser as it is right now. But I don't want a cruiser, I want a terrorizer! 
So plans for it are a genIV 427 with a M6 
I still have not decided on if I want to do an L92 bored and stroked to 427, or if I want to go all out and do a 427 LSX with a 2.8L Kenne Bell I got a little time to think about it tho. I won't even be starting on this car until I get the T/A all ironed out and where I want it. But at least until then, I can drive the Vette around just like it is now. Its still a great car how it is. Very docile and mild mannered. I have never driven a carbed car that runs this well! Anyways, enough typing- on to the pics 
Exterior-wise, I am going to be putting on wheels, sidepipes, an L88 hood, and paint it black. It will pretty much resemble this one:
I know- those are tiny pics, but they are just to give you an idea

Looks like a fun build, and it looks really nice.
I wouldn't paint it though, unless the paint is crap. There are lots of black Vettes around, but that's the first purple C3 I've ever seen. Kind of hate to see somebody get rid of a cool and rare color.

It is a deep maroon- almost burgundy color. My camera I guess just sucks at picking it up in that lighting. Yes, I know there are pleanty of black ones around, but I'm a sucker for black
