I have the scoop decal on mine. As far as tips I would recommend using soapy water to move the decal into the position you want and squeegee the reamining water. Let it dry. You can also use a hairdryer to dry it out quicker and have the adhesive warm and ready to stick.

From what I have heard the decal is very hard to get on right without wrinkles because of the compound curves of the scoop. I ended up going with the new manta because I liked the looks of it better and that's cake to install. The instructions that come with the decal tell you what to mix up for a solution so you can work on placement of the decal before it dries out and sticks on.

Mine is from there. It wasn't to bad to put on. I am going to have it painted on this summer though.

I think Frossty's car is a good example of how good the vinyl can look, but i would highly reccomend professional install. These things aren't exactly cheap, and they're easy to screw up! Most shops will only charge like $40-50 to put it on, and it'll be done right.

I ordered a manta last week from 3gd and it should be here this week. I'm going to attempt to do it myself. I also ordered the application gel and vinyl care spray from Phoenix Graphics. It cost me $30 for that stuff but I've heard that gel makes it much easier to install hood graphics.

I just use Sticker On or Windex and squeeze the excess out. I've been lucky doing that with enclosed trailer decals and graphic kits for dirtbikes. A man I work with used to work at a sign shop and he recommended the Windex, so far so good.
