Right. Sorry, but I don't like the longer nose. I think the stock nose is already too long (same for the rear, I think that is too long too).

That looks too long IMO. I like how with the 98 fascia update they made the nose look a little less dart-like compared to the 93-97, and your chop kind of makes me think 93-97/98-02 hybrid bumper.

I love your other ideas though.

It may be too much work for so little a change. Aerodynamically speaking it would create a smaller frontal area and improve the air flow. It would be a modded fiberglass front end from KLRWS6. I DO have other, more relavent things to work on so I'll probably just wait and see on this one.

Very creative...I think it gives the car even more of a "race appearance" per say.

I may just rework the bottom of the fiberglass nose and integrate a splitter. It would be less work and still have a similar impact.

Here are the before and after pics to compare them.

too long. i dont think air ride will make up for the length unless you have a huge amount of lift?

I knicked it from an Enzo. I would probably shape it a bit differently, but overall I think it fits really well. By cutting out that "ceta" section it just fits perfect. It would be easy to build as well. Should greatly reduce lift as opposed to being a parachute.

I did this pic 2 months ago but didn't really like it. A lot of exotic cars had a similar nose shape a few decades ago. That's where I drew my inspiration. It does give it a smaller, more compact appearance. What do you guys think?

Yeah I am going to agree with the waste of money factor... I have never been one to spend money on appearance type mods (besides wheels) so I'd pass just on that factor alone...

I didn't say anything about wasting money so you can't agree with something that doesn't exist. It's a matter of the work being worth the visual impact. Yes, it will cost money, but it's my money to throw away. This is a chance for people to express their thoughts without spending a cent.
It's also not what I'd call an appearance mod either. Looks are important, but other things are going on as well.

you probably know, but a rear diffuser really only helps/makes a difference at ~150mph+

with that being said, i've been toying with the idea what would you build yours out of?

It would be fiberglass. The initial curved bottom could be done in sheetmetal, though. It's just a thought. I've never seen anyone cut out that lower part of the bumper before.

It can help at much lower freeway speeds as well.
