Tell me about it. I spent 11 hours on the paint alone. It took 4 passes with Super Intensive Polish with a foamed purple wool pad on the hood/roof/trunk and 3 passes on the vertical panels. I followed up with SIP on an orange pad for one pass to clean up the slight haze left behind, then Duragloss #105 as the final sealant.

This is of my roller that I sold. I don't have a good pic of the before, but if you will look on the fender and the door, you will notice alot of scratches. The after is a pic of the door. I think it came out pretty good considering it's a 14yr paint job!

99z28monster.... that pic looks good man, I dont think youre doing anything wrong. Looks like a great detail job on top of factory GM paint, aka orangepeel. lol Not much you can do about it... unless you wetsand or repaint.
