Replacing fogged turn signals
Replacing fogged turn signals The turn signal/DRL housings on the front of my Formula are yellow and fogged up from the inside, so I want to replace them. Has anyone purchased new ones before? If so, do the lenses look perfectly clear like the fog lights? It seems that way from the pic I'm looking at, but I'd feel better spending $50 if I knew I'd be happy with the results.

Or.... has anyone tried to replace their ambers with a second set of fog lights? Would they fit?

Take them out, get some 2000 grit sand paper and a bottle of water. Wet sand them for like 5 minutes, take a buffer to it with some rubbing compound and your done. Hardly any money spent

They'll be clearer and look a lot better. They can't be as clear as the fog lights because of the Foglights have a clear flat lens while the Turn signal lens has the grid type to t5he inside as seen in the photo above. The fog light housing should not fit since it appears to be a bit larger than the turn signal housing.

Mine had them clear when I bought the car, I went to replace them with amber- but did not like the look and went back to what was on there. IIRC the specs are for 4157LL and they had put 4057LL in there to be the white ones. They are more milky looking than the fogs, which is why I thought I wanted the amber- but it looked worse. Still milky. Sometime this summer I will pull them out and try to clean them up.
