HI EVERYONE!!!

I'm Sandy, the lucky chick who bought Steve's car.....no need to cry guys- it'll be safe and well taken care of in central NEW YORK. We'll be turnin' some heads and showin' the pavement whos boss around here for a bit. I look forward to meeting everyone and as someone said before.."keepin' the car in the family." Till then, I'll talk to everyone later. Sandy

Never thought I would see the day when you would get rid of that car, truly a sad day. But I can't wait to see what the 69 will look like when you are done with it.

I feel more sad for your SS since it appears that it will be making a trip across the country staring at the ***-end of a SLOW Mustang (see photo). Your pooter SS will never forgive you for that one

Tony
That's pretty funny.
Good luck on the new/old one Steve. Your car was/is an icon for alot of us.

Steve...
Man, if I were you I'd be crying like a newborn right now.... that's what I did when my first Camaro went away on a trailer. Only mine went away on a flatbed cuz it was wrecked so bad it wasn't driveable.
But looks like you found a buyer who will enjoy the car as much as you did, so that's a good thing!

Sandy...
Welcome to the board!
You'll like it here, there's so much information about our cars on this site, it's wonderful. Hopefully soon you'll become like the rest of us and spend hours a day on the board.
And please enjoy your new car... it is definitely a measuring stick for the rest of us!!!

Welcome to the site Sandy, Steve's SS is a great car and you will love it. I hope he included a ton of polish for all of that stuff under the hood. BTW, nice photo!

And if she finds a guy in her area its gonna suck for him since he will have to accept that his girlfriend has a nicer car than he does..

Im looking at Recaros for the 69.. ive gotten used to the good life

Hey isn't this site for LS1 owners posts?????

Did u know that 243,000 Camaros were produced in 1969 and only 45,417 in 2000 u should have got vintage VW Bug u see less of them at shows & cruise nites than late 60's Camaros.

And in 30 years we will see how many 2000 SS's are still around compared to the 60 year old 1st gens.. and your point?

I could care less if there are 1 or 100 other 1st gens at a show I go to.. If all I wanted was to be different I would have gotten a pro street Hyundai Excel..

Actually the site is to exchange LS1 and 4th gen "knowledge".. Last time I check I sold the car not my brain (although some would argue that )

Maybe you should start a recall campaign on me as moderator??

I understand the feeling of needing a new project, but it is still a hard thing to let so much time and work go. But like previously mentioned, it's going to a good home and to someone that can appreciate it.

Sandy, welcome to the board! Be sure to keep us all posted with pics of that beautiful car you purchased, it's been an inspiration for so many people here.

Steve... it's almost Friday!
