Non cue ball shift knob

Non cue ball shift **** I've been looking for a good 16x1.5 shift **** for my T56, and it seems like almost all of them are T-handles, Hurst cue *****, or weird junk like these bug shift *****:

Has anyone found something more like the S2000 **** ( http://www.shopresponse.com/s2000_shift_knob.jpg ) or maybe a nice leather **** with the T-56 shift pattern on it? It's frustrating that cars like Honda Civics have better shift **** selection

That website absolutely disturbs me... razor blade shift *****, poor animals/bugs, and ugly women in the bottom picture.
Anyway, have you looked at the Hurst shift ****? I run a Pro 5.0 but have a Hurst shift **** because it's comfortable, "leather", and it looks pretty good. It doesn't have the T56 shift pattern on top though; just a big H. You could drop some serious coin and pick up a Corvette C6 shift ****. Gorgeous but pricey. I think they're usually up to around $100.

I'm sure this has been discussed a bunch before and I should search, but isn't the C6 shift **** non-threaded? How much work is it to make it compatible? After a quick eBay search, it looks like people are selling pre-converted ones, hmmm....
