Default VFN flat bolt on hood pics

I still have some fine tuning to do but the fit is good. Call me crazy but driving it around I felt the difference between this and the stock steel hood.

Thats the same one I'll be getting except extended pin on. I have had my car for so long with the stock hood it has just grown on me so much. I love ws6 hoods, just not on my car.

It's 14 lbs less than the VFN bolt-on WS6 hood. That and I can't stand poser/ricer crap.

I was almost in full support of you... then ya go off and say something like that...

How in the hell is putting an aftermarket hood styled like another hood "poser/ricer crap." nevermind... just nevermind...

It does fit good though, good choice...

You said it yourself:

"styled like another hood" aka posing

I know I'll get flamed to hell for this, but IMO all the WS6 clone TA people are douchebags.

i might be wrong but isnt the stock hood aluminum? not steel.

still a weight savings and it looks ok.

as to jump into the discussion, the only application in which i disagree with WS6 hood is the v6 crowd. any v8 firebird deserves a WS6 hood if thats what the owner wants...just dont badge it as such.

haha. thats great, lol. I wouldn't say they are douchebags, but I wouldn't get a ws6 hood either. My car is a non ws6, and it will stay that way. Plus everyone and there brother has a ws6 hood, I mean everyone. And it's always fun to race someone in a WS6 who thinks their car is badass cuz of the hood and badges, and kick their *** w/ my "slower" non-ws6 TA but... to each their own. I can't deny that a WS6 looks gorgeous though. Hood fitment looks pretty nice on that car, better than a lot that I have seen.

WTF? People can style the cars they want. Where do you get off calling people douchebags because they do what they want with their own cars??

I was gonna say that hood looks really good but damn its hard to compliment someone that makes statements like that

Listen guys, keep this about the hood please.

Cobra, please don't insult nearly 99% of the members on this site by calling them douchebags. A lot of people on here have aftermarket VFN or other companies hoods on their cars, myself included. There is nothing wrong with having a nice looking car. Your walking a fine line with the insults.

Get this back on topic or it's locked down.
