I have been thinking this for sometime. I haven't looked into to it much but I was hoping to put a HUD out of a Z06 in my formula... wonder what kind of wiring nightmare this will be.

I wonder if this could be made to work in our cars?

For a Grand Prix..

It would be awesome.

I've seen the delfi boxes before but they just aren't quite what I'm looking for. Not detailed enough for me. The HUD from a Z06 looks awesome, the GTP HUD isn't bad either, but in either case, the wiring will be tricky unless someone here has already figured it out. Anyone???

so after corvettes at carlisle i went up to kerbeck in atlantic city NJ (worlds largest corvette dealer) aparently lots of people retrofit corvettes with the hud the projector isn't that expensive and plugs into the pcm but they have to change the glass !!! the hud windsheild is coated on the inside to prevent the image from bluring and cost $2300!! if you read the label on the glass of a C5 that has the hud it says hud on it. now to get one made for an f-body well it just wouldn't be worth it imo. if anyone from kerbeck happens to read this thanx for your knowledgable help you guys are #1 for a reason

FYI-You do not have to change the glass when retro fitting a HUD into a non-HUD car. There are plenty of threads on the corvette forums that explain this.

thanx for the link
couple guys said it worked fine w/o the special windsheild and that it plugs into the more recent corvette clusters which means that one would probably have to get a corvette gauge cluster and the hud unit and we still don't know how well it will fit in the f body dash. if i do figure this out it would be so f'n cool in my WS6

The Lingenfelter is actually expensive. There have been a ton of posts on this, and there quite a few places you can get the same set-up fotr cheaper than LPE allegedly gets it for. Ed P tried to offer a GP, until someone posted another link, and Ed said they pay more than that in quantity. Will some people just do this damn thing, and post it, so we can all ride your coattails?

The wiring can't be too bad, it is just splicing into the different signals.
