Default A quick test NXT detail pics on the Z

Nothing serious, but i thought i would try out the Meguiars NXT stuff. I hate all other products from them because on dark color cars it leaves that shadow residue stuff in the paint and you have to scrub extra hard to get it out. This NEX did it a little, but not as bad so i liked it i could see having black i wouldnt like. It wasnt that bad at all and gave it a good shine. I usually use mothers gets about same shine and easier to get the was off. here are some quick pics.

I feel NXT leaves very much to be desired in terms of looks and durability. But, it is cheap and easy to use (although it will stain your trim quite readily). Did you use NXT or NXT 2.0?

Yea, NXT 2.0 has longer durability, which was the major downfall of the first NXT. I used NXT on my car a long time ago when it first came out and it looked great on white, but after about two washes the slickness was gone. NXT 2.0 has bettered itself in this respect.

Looks good, I haven't tried NXT 2.0 but I had the same problems with the original as ArcticZ28. Hopefully the new one is better!

Beautiful shine! I love the NXT detail spray. Meguiar's or Mother's. Just can't go wrong with either one.

if that is occurring, then you are applying to too thickly, and uneven.

your pics from this application look good.
