IMO, the ligher the car, the more it looks out of place when you black out the side markers.

wut about red lenses instead of amber for the front sidemarker lamps, on my TA? anyone know where i can get them? ya know, kinda like the rear red lenses on a trans am, but the smaller versions to fit up front! i think the ones camaros have on their rear bumpers are the exact size of the amber lens sidemarkers of the trans am.. anyone know about it?

Holy crap a 3 year old thread resurrection.

You can't put any red/blue lights on the front of your car. That's gonna get you pulled over for sure.

Yes. But only if it's dark enough for the cop to notice.

I usually turn my lights on when there's a cop around. Otherwise they like to bother me about my taillight and license plate covers. However, so far no cop, judge, or state inspection office has even noticed that all my side markers are black.

I did it on my black Trans am. You can't even tell they are there. Just use night shade! probably about 4 coats will make it good and black. The only time you can tell they are orange/red is when they are on, and you can hardly tell then.

question here, has anyone painted the clear lens on the inside with the night shades? Like painting a lexan R/C body? That would keep the gloss look on the out side and still have the same effect.

I used clear lenses on all 4 corners, with 3-4 light coats of NightShade.
The day lights are on, so you can see the difference between lights on/off.
