Re: Best Way to remove stock Z28 Emblems? Sun...hairdryer...well a source of heat...patients...and some gas to clean the area of the 3m tape sticky stuff...thats all i know.

Re: Best Way to remove stock Z28 Emblems? Get some stuff called PrepSolv from auto paint store. It's a mild form of lacquer thinner and will remove the adhesive residue. I don't think I would personally use gasoline on my clearcoat.

Re: Best Way to remove stock Z28 Emblems? i just did this two days ago.. needed: hairdryer, dental floss (fishing line), clean cloth, goo gone... steps: 1 put floss behind emblem 2 heat emblem for a few minutes with hair dryer 3 start a sawing motion on emblem while hairdryer is still blowing on it.. 4 once emblem is removed, take some goo gone and put on adhesive and let it sit a few minutes.. take cloth and remove adhesive.. you may have to squirt the goo gone on once or twice and let it sit before it comes off..
