Default Engine block color ???

Ok guys, so I have been pondering a couple options. I'm building a forged 347 right now & once I get the block back from the machine shop I plan to mask it all off & paint it.

Now here is my delima. Color choice My car is NBM & the exterior color will never change. But I'm thinking when we pull my current motor I might shoot the engine bay with gloss black.

What color would you choose for the block & a couple other parts?? Here is a couple options I thought of, give me some feedback please. Also my intake is a polished Lingenfelter with some polished Specialized Stainless covers already in the engine bay. And all my suspension is red powder coated along with stock coil pack painted red. No matter what color combo, the coil brackets will be silver also.

Please no "don't bother painting it" comments. This is something I will be doin because it is just too plain to me not painted. And yes, I know the proper painting procedures. So if we could keep it specific to the color options & what everyone thinks would look best I'd appreciate it.

IMO 1 and 2 will blend in to your bay more. (More suttle). If you want it to pop do option 3. I would do 3. I plan on using the LSX block so mine will be orange. If I had to pick between 1 and 2 it would be #2.

What was the color that pontiac used to paint their engines? Kind of a light blue/teal-ish color? That would look good I think
