Removing RS package ground effects Probably been covered before but I suck at using the search feature on this site.
So how hard is it? Does it leave anything unwanted? Can it be done in the driveway or best to let a body shop do it?

Re: Removing RS package ground effects It can be done. I crossed this road not long ago and sought advice from others that actually did this. I opted against it though because it just seemed like it would do more harm than good..
Holes. Lots of them. The stock kit uses Rivots.. Grind the rivot head off instead of drilling them to prevent Dings and dents along the side. Depending on your car color.. They'll most likely be visible. I'd check with your body shop about what sorta cost your looking at to have them all filled and the rollpan repainted.
The Rear Deck Lid has about 8 holes itself.. If you not worried about removing it than it's a non-issue but if you want it off, be prepared for many holes to be filled.

Re: Removing RS package ground effects brutal. I found a used car that was perfectly optioned to my liking except had the ground effects. I wouldnt mind leaving the spoiler since its just a little lip, but everything else would have to go. Hmm..wonder if anyone has done it and has pics?

I would have to recommend you don't mess with it. Why didn't you just get one without the GFX if you don't like them?
Thats what I plan on. I dont own a car with them. Was just browsing autotrader
