Why spend 450 bucks on a hood when you can do it yourself? Great now youve got the gears in my head turning....

Thanks, love your car by the way.

I love the contrast of the white with the dark blue. my dream car is a 69 camaro, dark blue with two big fat white stripes. since i dont have that... i make do with what i have. i thought about going with some other color, but i really want it to pop. once its done i'll get some people to photoshop some dif color schemes

Cool. For some reason most white on blue 4th Gens has looked like it was painted on white out to me

Just a suggestion, but if you pinstripe the white with something it will pop more, look more high-end professional, and IMHO just be killer

i didn't see anyone speak badly... i think it looks amazing so far but i wouldn't cut while it's on the car, too many flammable liquids in that area for all those sparks! besides the easy part of the project would have been takin it off and putting it back on. I maybe a little cautious but trust me i still have ***** lol. if for no other reason i wouldn't wanna buy new wiper blades after possibly melting them

Looks good. Wish I had the nerve and the know how to do that on mine.

I'm really leaning towards a VFN Ultra Z, but it'll be a while before I'll have the nearly $1100 I'll need to get it ordered and painted... I need more important things like wheels n tires first. Lol.

Sorry about the lack of updates. The hood is temp painted just to see what it looks like with the white scoop.

spoiler is in the mail, so i should have some updates on that within a week or two when the molding starts. then the final painting will be all done once thats done

I'll try to get some quick pics so you can see the semi finished look (hood is currently black with white scoop)

i think it looks great, and its different that's for sure.

my only concern would be the hot *** sparks bouncing into the windshield. ive seen cars with metal pieces embedded into the glass from welding and grinding.. i guess you just have to be careful

looks great and good job
