Question billet grill or not??????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys im thinking about geting a billet grill off ebay and painting it black and i need your opinions if i shound do it or not.
the grill i have now is the stock camaro grill i just sanded it down and painted it gloss black then i cleared it gave it a sand and buff and put the ss inserts on. i have a gloss berger panel with the ss inserts so will a black billet grill throw it off? let me know guys>

the red camaro grill is what im after just with a vitage z28 emblem or bowtie.
the red camaro is a members car on here. hope its ok to use your pic lol.

Billet grills belong on trucks IMO. Don't do it. My 2 cents.

Get the SLP Bowtie, or RKSport grill and fill in the logo....

I think i might end up going with the RKSport grill myself. Im just trying to decide on whether the Carbon Fiber grill or paint it black or pewter.

The painted stock grille doesn't look that bad.

That painted stocker looks real nice actually. I despise billet grilles. They just look cheap. The SLP one is sweet but it's like $250.

well i havent seen any one on here with there grill done like mine so thats why i kind of like it. and i took off my freedome designs spoiler because i hit the brace for my garage door and put a perfect little cut in it lol then i just repainted my stocker and filled in the holes but i like it better with the freedome so im repainting it and puting it back on.i was going to order a ss spoiler and it would of been about 300 once i painted it so for a little more ill get me a small cowl hood and make my car look like a harrel car which i kind on does already except no wide body lol.

I know SOM is different than the cayenne red, but its still fairly similar in some lights (im trying to find a picture of such)

here is a picture of my car with the billet grill, if it helps you at all.

That first picture with the black billet grille looks really good. I'm thinking of doing something similar but I would need a chrome Z28 emblem up front or it would look weird.

Stull makes a billet grille that is podwercoated a semi-gloss black...I've had mine on the car for almost 6 years now.

The SLP grilles look nice, but I didn't want to put more plastic on the car, and there would have been no way to put my 1970 Z28 grille emblem on one....

Pics linked in the sig.

Here's my customized front bumper, filled in the mounting holes for the grille, painted the bumper (had stone chips in it anyway), and installed some stainless mesh.

What's the differance between the RKSport grille and and a smoothed out bumper? It looks so much cleaner smoothed! And I haven't seen a color that it doesn't look good on.

i say billet. but IMO, you HAVE to have something to break it up. whether it be an old school SS emblem, old school Z emblem, or a bowtie. Personally, i'm puttin a blue 69 bowtie on my 02 SOM Z
