taking off molding im gonna take off the molding on the sides and the trans am lettering...just wondering if the paint underneath is gonna be in good shape...car has 42,000 on the clock
depends on how its been driven/stored/cared for. if it was a daily driver, sitting out in the sun all day, then through whatever winters you have, the paint could have faded some, leaving under the moulding brand new.
if it wasnt driven daily, garaged, washed/waxed regularly, itll probably be just fine.
