My mod list: what u think? I have a black 2000 Camaro SS
here are my mods so far...plz give constructive
criticism...opinions...and more mods that u think I should add...
18x9.5 chrome Z06 wheels wrapped in kumho esta supras 275/35/18 on all fours...
chrome black/chrome SS valve caps
clear cornors (front and sides)
Stull billet grille
chrome antenna
chrome SLP emblem...on the way is a full SS chrome emblem set
custom made black mats with Red SS (might dye the SS silver)?
afterthoughtsauto SS dash plaque ratings with SLP exhuast
afterthoughtsauto custom made fuel rail covers black with chrome CAMARO, chrome SS, and chrome 5.7 STRIP
3" SLP loudmouth exhuast with 3.5" polished tips (might change tips to Mecham)?
2 12" solo beric L7 kickers with custom chrome dipped sub grilles
kenwood excelon 1200 watt amp with 2 rockford fosgate amps
next week...I should have most of it insalled...I have most of it installed rite now tho...I now need opinions from u guys to help me out with these and further mods...btw...I'm going to have my headlights bezel painted black, and radiator shroud gloss black to match the fuel rail covers...and I may chrome plate things next week also...

Looks good so far.. i dont care for the Mecham tips as they are pretty big.. Corsa makes the nicest tips..
Power antenna would be better than chrome..
Other than that it sounds like your off to a great start

Lose the billet grille. Its a camaro, not a truck.

Re: My mod list: what u think? I just got the billet grille...I think it looks good esp. cuz I like flashy things...performance is on the way! I'm just getting the appearence done first...keep the opinions comming tho! sorry I don't have pics up...once I get everything installed...I will.
btw...Steve2000SS...I've seen ur car with clear cornors...did u put a bead of clear silicon around them so no water gets in? I heard many people do this...what u think I should do?

Verdad Gallardo Re: My mod list: what u think? I don't see how the silicone would hurt but I think on the nicer ones the problem is water coming in through the bulb socket (which sometimes melts due to heat) and not the edges.. silicone here would be impractical for bulb changes.
You could go with LED lights to keep the temp down or use a small bead of silicon to protect from water intrusion..
Heck, the 69 dosent even have wipers..
