Default Overlay Install

Okay, I haven't tried very hard to figure it out on my own (other than doing a search on this site), and the overlays didn't come with directions...so MY question is: How in the hell do you install these little suckers? I sat in the car and tried to figure it out, but I want to install them accurately. I have the heater and a/c overlays in addition to the headlight overlays...can somebody PLEASE point me in the right direction?

Pulling would be my first guess....the plastic aroun the headlight dial and speedo guages is all one unit you can pop off...... I'm sure someone else will chime in on the ac stuff.... good luck

Yeah, I figured it was all one piece, but I don't want to just go in there and pull that thing off. Also, the dials are going to need to come off...there must be some sort of trick to get babies to pop...thanks for the help...anybody else?

Which overlays do you have?

If they are the MacEwen or DynoPro faces, they are very easy and you can find instructions from the MacEwen Motorsports website:

For the headlight / HVAC the trim rings (in the Camaro at least) pull right off, same with the control *****. Should be self explanatory from there.

That only gives direction on how to do the gauge cluster overlays...thanks for pointing me in the direction but I have the a/c ones...which are left out in the explanation.

Pull the trim ring, pull the *****, and install the overlay.

(In the camaro) For the HVAC the whole panel with the vents just pulls straight out and snaps back in.

for the Headlights... the trim panel with the side vent pulls out the same way.

The ***** for HVAC and headlight control pull off the shaft.

I appreciate it, man. I finally just grew ***** and pulled the thing out...surprisingly easy considering I had already tried it. I figured there couldn't be any trick to it seeing as how nobody was responding, so I pulled the thing out 3 days ago. Very easy, I couldn't believe it took that long to figure it out...lol.
