What did you use to remove the clother material that was glued to the backside of the speaker grilles? Been wanting to paint mine. Good luck with the project, can't wait to see it done.

LOL, show me another f-body with something similar along with the rest of the interior done up tastefully & I might buy your comment.

For the speaker grills here is what I did. Left the fabric on & painted them. Then go through each hole with a exacto knife & trim out the fabric. With it painted the fabric will cut smoother & leave less stray strands floating in the holes. Then hit them with another coat of silver & clear.

On the Humount I'm sticking with it now. My buddy sold the touchscreen I was thinking about getting from him. He got more outta if than he wanted from me, so no hard feelings.

I still have 2 gauges, front seat belts & a few other parts I'm tryin to get together still. I'll be starting my carpet & nitrous wiring install right after the carpet arrives. But it's gonna be at least after the first of July before I can start wrapping my panels & install the inserts.

Yea, I tried to remove it on the first one I did & it took forever. Not to mention I still couldn't get it all off & I even went at it with sandpaper. After that I set & looked at it for a minute & decided to try it the way I listed above. It worked better than I thought it would.

Yea boyd, I finally found a set second hand. Luckily they never even got installed & were still wrapped in bubble wrap. I hope they add the touch I'm seeing in my mind. If it all pulls together like I invision it, it should be killer when it's all done.

Right now I don't have the back seats installed. Just the fronts so I can drive around & maybe carry 1 passanger. The rear seats won't be goin in until I get done wrapping my interior panels in leather & get my Ebony carpet installed. Otherwise I'll just have to remove them again when I go to install those things.

I haven't got anything else installed just yet. I'm waiting for my Ebony carpet & then I'll be hitting the interior pretty hard. There is just alot of pieces it wouldn't do any good to install before my carpet gets here cause I would just have to remove them again to swap carpet.

Ok, little update. Besides the carpet comming in next week I should also be recieving a black MBA **** to replace my blue one. And the new **** has a bird engraved, so the blue one with "LS!" engraved will be up for sale very soon.

Also talked to Grant about getting my headrest done with a bird logo & "Trans Am" script under it in silver. So I'll be sending those off in about a week or so to get done.
