Talking My custom interior thread

I know several members on here would like to see this stuff. Here is some pics & what not of my interior conversion I'm about to start. There are some stock replacement parts & some custom. I'm planning on having my entire conversion done by end of July. Only possible change that could change would be swapping my current deck w/the Humount out for a Panasonic CQ-VD6503U 6.5" touchscreen w/DVD & Navigation w/custom radio bezel for a double din.

Here is my list of parts currently that are 100% on the agenda. I also don't have pics of every single part yet, but will be adding more to this thread as it continues.

Parts on hand:

Ebony rear leather WS6 seats
Ebony front leather WS6 seats
Ebony rear seat belts
Ebony sun visors
Ebony leather wrapping kit & all extra interior panels to be wrapped
Brushed Aluminum T/A benzel overlay
Brushed Aluminum Vent rings
Custom headliner w/tribal design (entire piece now black)
Custom black leather door panel inserts w/matching tribal logo
Silver Humount radio benzel w/"Trans Am" illuminated in red
Silver painted/cleared speaker grills
Custom nitrous switch plate
White LED's for dome/Map lights
Red LED's for door locks
Aeroforce Scan guage w/red illumination & limited edition Pontiac logo on start up
Dynotune Digital fuel pressure gauge w/red illumination

Parts comming in soon & to be ordered soon:

Ebony carpet (should recieve before end of the month)
Redline Goods custom Ebony w/silver stiching leather console lid cover, shift boot & e-brake cover
Billet brushed Aluminum HVAC/Headlight ***** (just need to go pick up headlight **** from Mitchell)
Custom Red LED bulb kit for HVAC, headlight switch & cluster
Few misc. interior plastic trim pieces to be painted/cleared gloss black
Ebony front seat belts
LC-1 wideband (goin in middle vent w/Speed Inc. billet spacer)
Dynotune digital nitrous pressure gauge w/red illumination

I'm also gonna change up how my Zapco amp is mounted on the rear deck while I'm at it. I'm gonna make a sort of triangled piece from MDF wrapped in Ebony leather, mount the amp on it w/slope facing the rear of the car & run the wires cleaner & thru grommets. Heck when I first put it in I did it in about 45 minutes while drinking beer in Derek's driveway. So I didn't exactly do the cleanest install.

Me & Brandon are also gonna be doin my nitrous install & all wiring that I'll need done while the carpet is out & being replaced. I figured this is the best time to do it all. Should look like a completely different car within the next 2-3 months.

Pics:(still need to get pics of some stuff, I will edit as I get them)

rear Ebony seats

custom door inserts

custom headliner (kinda hard to see design in this pic, but can be seen)

I'm in the middle of my slightly more elaborate project, so i'm very interested to see how yours turns out. I very much like the trbial flame idea. Not something I would do, but it's a badass look, and you are putting it on a badass car, so I don't see a problem with it. We need more unique interiors out there so i'm all for it.

If you run into any issues, let me know, I may be able to help.

Sorry it took so long to post guys, I just got back to work.

The nitrous panel came from Beer. He is a member on here & always in the nitrous section. The aluminum bezel overlay is a ebay piece & the vent rings I got off a buddy of mine, but a member on here named boyd used to sell them.

I'm kinda fond of the tribal stuff just b/c it's unique. Everyone does a plain ol' Ebony conversion. I wanted something that will make people look twice. Along with the all LED interior lighting it should look nice. I'm really excited about starting the interior panel wrapping with the Specialized Stainless Ebony leather kit. I'll be starting that first of July. And my Ebony carpet should be in my shop at work by next week sometime.

I know Presto, some of this stuff I have been collecting for over a year for this conversion. At least I got my entire sound system done at the first of the year, so it's already out of the way. Here is what I got for that:

Pioneer headunit
Crossfire XP2402 (240 watts @ 4 ohm/2 ohm stable)
Treo RSX6.5c component set (100 watts each 4 ohm 2-way)
Treo RSX6.5 mids (100 watts each 4 ohm 2-way)
Zapco 350i sub amp
Pioneer TS-W255DVC (700 watt max w/dual 4 ohm voicecoils)

I should have my Ebony carpet sometime next week. And I will be ordering my PLX wideband set-up & Speed Inc. billet gauge adapter for the center vent next week. I still have a few parts I need to collect & then set-up a day with my buddy to do all the wiring.

Hey Big Mike, are you getting rid of the Humount? If so, how much are you looking to get for it? I'll buy it if it is cheaper than going through Humount!

Let me know
