Default finishing berger
i put the last coat of satin black paint on my berger panel about 3 hours ago and it's been sitting under a fan. is there ANYthing i need to do to it, like buffing or sanding before putting it back on the car?

no not really how did you paint it?? spray cans or paint gun?

i don't think you should have to sand... does it look bad?? maybe if you had runs you might want to sand it

no it looks even everywhere. i just wanted to make completely sure i was finished. it's been drying for about 3-4 hours, think its ready to be put back on?

it should be fine, You'll have some excess residue from the paint which will come off just spray it with water after 24hours

rub some wd40 on it and buff it out, it'll make the paint less likely to chip and make it easier to clean! Stuff won't stick to it as easy.
