Default Ain't these pretty....(valve covers)

I got tired of the seeing the ugly ends of the stock VCs sticking out from under the FRCs, so I had a set of stock VCs chromed. I could have gotten a set of aftermarket VCs cheaper but thats not the look I was going for. These turned out exactly like I was hoping they would.

The chrome factory valve covers (chrome plated...NOT POLISHED):

I painted the coil brackets SOM (MSD coils are coming sooner or later..so I didnt want to paint the coils):

Installed with the coil packs on them:

Installed with the FRCs in place:

They gave me the exact subtle touch I was going for...here they are compared to stock:

Before

After (I still have some stuff to put on, so its very dirty and the belts and all are off):

wow beautiful stuff. I don't think I would close my doors after polishing those strikers.

it would've been a good idea IF they were out in the open, but they are kind hard to see, they look great when they are not installed tho waste of time and money

Wow they look great. I wouldn't want to put the FRC's back on after having them chromed.

Looks really good man! I like the chrome VCs.

If your car is not your daily, I am looking to trade my MSDs for stockers + cash.
