Default Supercharged Lt1 Formula -NEW PICS-

After over a year of working on my car I have some updated pictures... everything from exterior, engine bay, interior, etc. Most of the work I wanted to do to it is done, but there is still a little more cleaning, painting, and a few more things I want to buy for it. Let me know what you guys think of it so far or if you have any questions! Thanks -Matt

Thanks for the compliments Guys! I still want to do a polished alternator/fan and some coated headers, and possible a couple other small things as well.

I havn't taken her to the track yet, but if I make it there this summer I will post numbers!

The "arm pit of ohio" is Akron/Canton area... but its really not that bad!

I actually don't know the true horsepower as of right now... I would love to set it up on a dyno. Its just a matter of finding a local place to have it down where they won't charge me out the *** for a basic dyno!

Thanks! I have to give my dad credit for designing the box for me, also It was very hard for him to bend the glass the correct angle needed. It came out looking very professional and custom, I love the retro bird.

Nice Formula, clean LT1s are getting hard to find. Is that 43,000 on the odometer? Any plans for a hood?

How do you like the Vortech? Trying to decide what I want to do to mine. What psi are you running?

Yes, I very rarely see LT1's in my area. Even when I went to the summit racing car show(which is one of the biggest shows of the year) there were very few LT1's there. Not to mention finding a clean, well kept LT1 is a whole other story.

Yes, my car had just over 35k original miles on it when I bought it. I drove it a lot the first year I had it and then the past two years I have been working on it and it has about 43k after having it for 3 years. It has never seen snow, and was very rare to see rain.

I had a couple bad experiences with hoods, so I am content with the stock Formula hood. I actually have grown to like it, and with hardly any LT1's running around a lot of people don't realize it is the stock hood.

I am running the stock pulley which is I think 3.33 which only puts out at most about 4500psi and that is only at the higher rpm spectrum. I don't have a forged rotating assembly so I don't punish my engine. I also have a 2.83 pulley which would bump the boost up a lot, but I would never put it on unless I did some high end engine work. What do you have in mind for your car?

I actually kind of like the stock hood, looks really unique in the way the scoops go down into the hood instead of being raised up. I really want to go FI just because not too many people go that route. Plus, when the motor goes, I can forge it and add more boost.
