Default Corsa clone tips stained on inside

These tripple chrome dipped corsa clone tips I got, they were mirrored on the inside like outside and I guess the exhaust gases and condensation has stained the inside...does this happen to all or are some better quality?

Is there anyway to remove the stains?

A mini power ball and some Mothers Amazing Billet will make them look....Amazing! At least it works on my real Corsa tips, but they are polished instead of chrome. Are you sure yours are chrome rather than polished???

I have corsas and I just use chrome polish on the inner lip. The inside is stained black so I don't even worry about cleaning inside. I also carry a rag under my seat and everytime I get done driving I go back and just wipe the lips down so they stay clean. If I don't do this I have to polish them every time I wash the car.

Keep in mind he said they were chrome...this works great for polished tips like ours but would absolutly ruin chrome. I think the OP needs to verify if they are chrome or polished before he goes any further.

OP....to verify if they are really chrome or if they are polished take a rag with metal polish on it (not chrome polish) and polish the tips with it. If the rag turns really black then the tips are polished not chromed.

Not true! I use 0000 steel wool on my chrome Corsa clones and it cleans them up perfectly.

I use the hot rims and the mini power ball and they shine. Only this i'll use and fits perfect in corsa tips.

They are sold as stainless steel, tripple chrome dipped, and yes I have tried metal polish and never dull as one of the local body shops recomended, it cleaned the areas not stained, but did not "appear" to be doing anything about the stain.

I use soft scrub (its normal use is for cleaning kitchen things without scratching them)
works great, I also use it to clean other crap, used it on my wifes car (on the paint) for a stain that would come off, pulled it out but i had to wax it when I was done.
