Difference between 93-96 turns, and 97+ DRL's?

Difference between 93-96 turns, and 97+ DRL's? whats the factor that causes the huge difference in light output on these parking lights.
if you have the 97+, you have DRL's (front parking lights) which are way brighter then the 93-96 parking lights on at normal times. In fact the DRL's are as bright as the turn signal in the on position.
is thier a difference in bulbs? wiring? whats the difference, i want that look!

the bulbs are most likely the same... On the 97+ with the DRLs its still a dual brightness bulb since the dim output is on when the headlights are on and the bright output is on when the DRLs are on. Im just not exactly sure how the wiring is configured for this. I tried to do this on my maxima's front bumper lenses but those are exclusively for turn signals only so the wiring is a little different
The DRL illuminates the brighter element of the bulb (same element as the turn signal).
Parking lights illuminate the dimmer element of the bulb.
And yes the light bulb and the entire housing for the 1993 to 2002 Camaros are the same.

then that would probably flash the dim filament of the bulb when you use the turn signals
ideally here, you want -
- bright filament to be on when the bumper lights are turned on at the headlight switch
- dim filament to be on when headlights are on
- bright filament to flash when the turn signals are on which will override the circuit from the headlight switch (in other words when left blinker is on the right bumper lens is still steadily lit)
ill let the wiring gurus chime in for more detail
