I found another panel locally for 20 bucks. So I picked that up and painted it and kept my original one too. I don't think I'll ever have the desire to put the original one back on though, it looks so much better black.

i wish i had pics of mine to put on here and i did f mine up and had to sand it down and redo it. if you mess up bro just take some sandpaper and sand it down and start over...my car is an everyday driver so i drove around with no panel so it looked kind of busted and i did the chrome insets man and i messed up the first time because i didnt take my time. take your time and youll be fine. i think i spent 15 bucks in supplies. i suggest getting on ebay and there is a guy that sells the mirror finish or chrome inserts...they are the same...and get them for like 30 after shipping...well worth it to me and they fit perfect and look amazing...if i get time tomorrow ill take some pics of my car and post up...i need to post them anyways with the berger and z06 style emblems and my ultra z hood.

I just picked up some Plastikote Bumper Color rattle can paint. Its semi gloss black and looks good I think. 
I first painted mine semi-gloss. I thought it didn't contrast enough with my shiny NBM paint, so I reprayed it in flat black. Looks great now.
I bought 2 panels from the junkyard for 25 each. $7 worth of paint and it looked great. I figured a spray can would look like crap but it actually turned out way better than I thought. I scuffed the panel with steel wool, wiped it clean, and sprayed it black.
