diy berger panel question

Ok, i know how to do the berger panel myself, but i was debating weather to use the panel on my car, or to go to the junk yard and pick one up so that if i mess up.... the only problem is the junk yard wants $75 for one panel, and thats way to high IMO. should i just suck it up and do my panel and never look back?

thats what im worried about, but i can paint fairly well. just doing want to drive around looking like an idiot if it doesnt turn out well...

Think about it this way, if you do screw it up or dont like it how much do you think it will cost you to get another panel with exact matching paint as yours is now, 75$ all the sudden isn't very expensive is it.

Did it last night.

$5 sand paper, and $5 rattle can of SEMI Gloss. Came out quite nice.

I have 2 panels, so i can swap them depending on the mood,lol

Makes such a huge difference, splits the back of the car up a bit... i did mine with flat black tho.

Yea i like the flat black as well. Ive seen some cars with semi that look good, but flat black with chrome inserts just seems bad @ss

I had the same idea you did i was thinking about doing the berger panel and i was gonna buy one from a junkyard in case i didnt like the way it looked or if i got tired of it.
