The hood latch will interfere. To cover the washer fluid reservoir and leave the cap exposed would require a bend, or break in the metal. This isn't the problem, but that break would be raised and cause massive interference with the SS hood and the hood latch setup.

Don't worry, this isn't the only piece we're working on. The engine bay will look a lot different.
