Painted calipers

I upgraded my brakes. drilled slotted rotors, hawk pads, painted bracket black and caliper red ,,added "trans am " overlay..........

I got NBM, and I think I'll do mine black with a silver over lay. I am just not sure what kinda of silver.

Nice job. Red looks hawt on most colors. I went with green to match my mystic teal. I just wish red and green did not remind me of Christmas.

I think w/ my car I will do silver on the caliper and black on the bracket. That seems like the best.

i brushed mine on, his look better so i think he may have used rattle can. personal opinion, i think it wouldve been better if i used rattle can. only prep i did was spray the calipers with the caliper cleaner that came along with the kit i bought.

Look very nice! I have a NBM car and i did my dark blue with a sliver firehawk decal. I should of also done the bracket silver too.

After reading this thread I had the itch to get off my *** and do mine. I ran to Advanced Auto this morning and I found out Duplicolor has Caliper paint with ceramic in it for up to 500 degrees so I picked it up in red. I used air intake cleaner(I already had it) and a wire brush to prep the calipers, and I think it came out pretty good. Here's a picture of how it came out:

Thanks for the replies..i actually used the caliper paint kit with the brush,I used a foam brush for calipers and high heat black spray can for brackets.I just finished up rears and got wheels on..Took about 4 hrs total for brake swap and paint...

How did you like the kit? I was going to get the kit and then I saw it was like $10 more than just the can of paint. Did you even have to mask anything off since you brushed it on?
