houndstooth or not?

Im getting my seats re leathered this week but a friend of mine mentioned i should have the centers done in houndstooth and keep the charcoal grey outside. Ive seen this before , but its been a while and i wanna see how it looks again.

What should i do? keep it stock and clean looking? or go for the retro houndstooth look?

anyone got pics of this, please post up!

I redid mine and love the stock and clean look but that's just me tho.

I just had the same problem recently of trying to decide if I wanted houndstooth or just plain leather. I agree with what Kingc8r said; it depends on the color of your car. My car is pewter and I decided it wouldn't look good with black and white houndstooth and charcoal leather.

I'm probably gonna get smacked over the head with a pipe for this, but houndstooth is kinda ugly IMO, so I'm gonna say just good ol' leather

What color is the car though? Some kind of different colored insert may look pretty sweet.

My buddy has an NBM Camaro and his car looks sick with the houndstooth.

DO IT, it will look amazing. im actually doing this to my bmw. im also doin the visors the centers of the door and possibly the headliner

When my seats in my 30th anniversary Z started to tear apart (the perf. leather inserts fell apart) I decided to keep the white leather (actually went with vinyl) and did orange/black houndstooth inserts. Here's the results:
