SS Spoiler looks great. Not OEM

Roger that crimson, I appreciate it....All I know is they said if it didn't fit that they wouldn't be liable to for returns. That's kind of jacked up if I get one of the fucked up molds!
#362
when they say that, they're probably referring to if you buy it for a car it wont fit, since she probably doesn't know the difference between a 94 and 98 she's just making sure you find out. for example, buying a 96 camaro hood for a 99 camaro and it not fitting... they wouldn't be liable for that mistake.
the people who have gotten ill-fitting spoilers usually have no issues with returning/exchanging.

Well yeah I understand that the hoods are completely different with the light change and I agree the *** ends look identical except for the lights! I thought for sure that they would have some knowledge that they are interchangeable. Not clueless considering they sell hundreds I'm sure. I most likely need to talk to George directly, not a secretary..... Hell maybe I should tell them my car is a 98 so they dont question the fact that it wont fit my year and dont come back on me if it fits like ****.

btw, bice looking Z28! love the blue

the thing is, they aren't camaro/GM specific sellers, and they dont just do spoilers, they sell many different parts, for many makes, and a helluva lot of different cars. so the ss spoilers are just a small portion of their business. So with that many car parts its hard to expect them to be knowledgeable about each car year/make/model of car they sell parts for.

By the way your cars look bad *** as well! See you sold the camaro though!

Well after a really bad fitting spoiler I ended up talking to George and he said do what I needed to make it fit better. He said if I wasn't happy he would return my money and also to take the spoiler to a local bodyshop to get an estimate on fixing the corner that the paint is gone.
***Here was my fix which is what most people have done as well***
I took the foam padding off the ends of the spoiler. The factory spoiler did not have anything between it and the hatch. Now it fits so much better...still a small gap on the centers of the spoiler, but MUCH better.

Yea, it fits way better with the padding off the sides. I was an idiot and took off all the padding and now my center supports don't touch the hatch.
Anyone know where to find foam padding with adhesive on one side? I couldn't find anything like that at Menards. I thought for sure they would have something but nope.

ther're not too fast to relist these spoilers. so they often go for periods without them up for sale on ebay. Their contact info is in this thread, i'm sure you can give them a call or send them a message through ebay to tell them to post one up for you.

^ I gotta find that out also cause since I have a job now, more stuff will get done to my car and this may be one of the first things I do on my list since there not that exspensive from that company and I can have it painted by them and wouldn't take no more than an hour to install and the most part of the time would be to take time out to lay the stuff out to where it won't get scratch or anything happen to it.

I also saw they finally got more, but of course they did just after I ordered my full new exhaust (headers and all) so guess I will be waiting for the next batch in a year...
Make sure to post pics how they look.
