I'm bringing back an old thread because I'm excited that I purchased a SS spoiler from the same place!

Anybody bolt down the center post? I removed the foam to get it to sit flush at the corners but the center post seem to have a slight gap & flex when opening up the hatch so im wondering if I should bolt them down.

I got one for cheaper and I wish I hadn't....I need to re-work it....a lot. It sits too high and too far back (don't think I can fix that part), not to mention the waves.

Shouldn't as posted eariler there are no other sponsers that offer this product so it shouldn't be a issue with posting a link to someone who does.

Maybe someone can talk to that seller and have them become a sponser on the site then it won't even be a issue.

I really wished I had found the same spoiler as you guys....I could only find one other company selling them and it sucks. I'm still in the middle of extensive body work.

Got mine in/on yesterday, couldn't be happier with it. The paint looks great and the fitment was absolutely perfect. Came with the brake light and everything.

Before:

After, along with Brent Franker "CAMARO" letters (camera phone, sorry):

Got mine today painted. took some pics. Not on the car, maybe I'll put it on in a few days, and see how it matches. Looks really good for a $50 paint job.

edit, I wrote this for the local Fbody site but its good info for here

Theirs a lot of installed pics and guys saying how will it fits on LS1tech, I've been wanting to get a SS spoiler, so did.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...t-not-oem.html

I ordered it here for $170 shipped, and paid the extra $50 to have it painted GM colored PPG paint.
For $220 shipped its a great deal.

I can get to a better scale later. But looks to be about 5-6lbs on the bathroom scale. Its really light, Haven't taken the Z28 one off but can't see it being lighter. So there a plus on some weight savings. I'm going to take the brake light off, and see if I can get it out. But there is something loose rolling around inside the spoiler.

It was packaged well, 100% wrapped, and a lot on the corners that fit the box tight.

came with

Paint looks great on the top, the box still smells like paint. There still some packaging dust on it. Has a small nick/bump mark on the lip, looks like it was set on before the paint was hard. Its still "soft", but not going to mess with it.

Under side has some sanding marks showing thu, and lots of orange peel. The driver side ends that I think you see with the hatch up is light on the paint, you can see in the pic. Both ends Kinda dry with some junk painted over in that inside corner. But its $50 prep and paint job, its very good.

3rd brake light looks good, fits fine.

corners are nice, not rounder over like the spolier depot, and the other Ebay places.

I don't see any runs or dry spots anywhere in the top, the paint is very good. But theres some some wavyness in the middle, that's might show up in these pics. Its probably fine on the car, just something to note.
