ok my question is (by the way i love these on this hood iwas planning on this hood and now i know for sure) why 346 instead of 350? the LS1 is a 350 so why put 346 or is the displacement just under enough to still classify it a 350?<---if yall understand my Texas jibber jabber at all lol.

The LS1 is 346 cubic inches.

usaf heff- You are incorrect, the ls1 is a 346, not 350....

Brian is smarter enough not to make a mistake like that

5.7L=5700ml=5700cm^3

5700(cm^3)*[(.393700787inches)^3]/(1cm^3)=347.835ci... I think the displacement is not really 5.7L, but GM just rounded. They actually came out and said it was a 346ci. I am not really sure why there is a contradiction, but the math and specs do not equal.

Edit: My math has more accuracy in the cm to inches conversion. If you round that number it gets closer to 346ci. There is the problem...
