Default New cowl emblems

Ripped the stripes off and put new emblems on all in a days work

I like this a lot better. Custom emblems from dragonz28

Also, I ditched the cheap "chrome" vinyl inserts and put in real stainless steel inserts:

I agree, looks good, but they need to be about 1/3 that size. It just looks better when its subtle.

i like them. i think they are the right size. why would u want anything smaller, it would be come barely visible unless ur really close to the car. i might actually get those instead of doing a manta.

Pretty big and too far back... I think the "I" should be where the "C" stops.

I had to mess around with mine for awhile untill I got them where I wanted (different stripes, same position now though):

Basically, you don't want an emblem past the "overhang" part of the cowl...

Guess I can't win Oh well, i really like them and the stainless really pops in the sun and looks great in person. I debated for about 3 hours before I decided to leave the "CI" on and overall I think I like that look better. If I would have moved the emblems any further down, the emblems would have just came too far down on the cowl with the included "CI."

Leave the 346 where it is and close the gap a little to the CI. You just need enough space for the I to move in... Then mimic distance on other side...

No thanks, I like it the way it is Plus, any closer and everything would just blend into one big word.

I like the idea but the letters and numbers do seem to be too big.

People on this site crack me up. I had those EXACT same cowl emblems on the EXACT same hood and not one person in 2 years ever told me they were too big.

Hell, they are only 1 1/8" tall and are the EXACT same size as the letters on most DH cars with the exception of the "c.i." being capitalized.

Funny how these are not considered too big or way too far forward...(Only this big on her car for some reason)

Brian, they look great. There is no written or unspoken rule as to where or how big the ******* letters/numbers on your cowl go, put them where you want and what size you want and tell everyone to worry about their own cars.
