Default Dying seats?

I got a good deal on a pair of seats. I bought the said seats used in person. I am colorblind and unfortunately took for granted the color of the seats and now have this:

blue seats in a black interior car. has anyone ever had seats dyed? how much was it and how risky is it? thanks

I think that's black, just faded from sun abuse.

I must be colorblind too, looks like faded black to me? Cloth black compared to leather black is always going to have a pretty good difference.
