Unhappy The whistler how-to site is gone!

This is the link in the sticky:
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/224386/2

but it doesn't work anymore! I was thinking of finally doing this and nightshading my corners/tails (cheap appearance mods heh, broke college guy) but with that link busted...

I searched for "whistler write-up" and "whistler how-to" and didn't come up with much here on how to do it. So, I want to check with you guys on whether my memory serves properly or not! I don't want to mess this up.

Heat headlight for 20-25min in the oven at 225F.

Pull the lens off, using a butter knife makes it easier. Careful not to crack the lens! Go carefully but don't take too much time as it will cool down too much.

Repeat with headlight 2.

Clean off the old seals.

Use masking tape to tape off the reflectors in the back.

Scuff up the chrome real good to give the paint a surface to stick to.

Paint using some black spray paint. Here is where I'm not sure - what type spray paint to use? I saw a lot of indoor/outdoor paint at the store but that doesn't strike me as being the right stuff. Is there something meant for higher temps?

Flat or gloss black, your choice. Gloss I think is what most people do. Wait however long it says for the paint to dry.

Use RTV sealant on the groove of the lens, then smash it back onto the back part of the headlight. Hold it together for a while to let it start drying. Don't put back on the car until it is dry.

OK anything I missed? Type of paint? Also, I recall someone somewhere saying to paint part of the lens as well... what part?

awesome, thank you Guz

*edit* I don't see any mention of what type of spraypaint to use. Just the standard krylon black spraypaint like from wally world?

I can't find a pic for reference but I use Dupli-Color Truck, Van, & SUV paint. The one I chose was a high gloss metal-flake black. They call it high gloss but it's not quite a shiny as clear coated, but it is brighter than a semi-gloss. I love the way it came out.
