if you're doing gloss black then i'd use a paint gun. but flat black..you might as well rattle can it.

i am the worst spray painter ever. im talking like i cant paint a line on a sidewall without runs. i did the ceta on my car with the bumper on the car and it came out awesome. there is one very very small tape edge that isnt perfectly lined up with the other one next to it but other than that is came out great, for 12 bucks

Sail panel was covered under warranty, mirrors were $50..i took them off and gave them to the body shop

My friend got his done for $80 with a gloss/clear finish. I did mine with only 1 can of primer and 1 can of Krylon Semi-Flat.. I didn't clear it because I did not want it glossy.

My CETA cost me under $20 and looks perfect. Only took like a few hours too. Oh well I guess I'm cheap

I agree with the guy that said TRY it yourself first. If it get all fu**ed up, no big deal, the body shop will take care of all that. If it comes out great, you save $180. Weigh that on the scales.

im gonna do mine soon also. just a can of flat black, some tape, and i have one of those things that hook on the can like a real sprayer.

All you need to do is wet sand it... tape it off... cover your other body panels with some garbage bags....use some black primer... a few coats of whatever black you're using... and some clear coat, and you're set. Will cost you under $20.
