Cleaned up Underhood

I made probably the best modification I could ever make to my car this week.

It came with a C5 air intake system...needless to say, it had to go.

Looks good! You might want to get a smooth intake hose that fits between the lid and throttle body. I have one on mine and it looks better than the stock one. Thanks

Like the air lid. Looks much better. That open filter is ugly and not as functional as the aftermarket lid and free ram air mod.

Yeah it's the MTI Carbon Fiber lid. I'm still looking around for a cheap smooth bellows, but I know I need to get one!

Thanks a lot! I don't drive it in the rain/snow so there is not too much cleaning to do...but it's Simple Green when it needs to be done.

Wow, just a lid made it look about 10x better. . . . .

The dual K&N was pretty gross looking.

Might could look into getting your TB and MAF powdercoated. I did mine and they look good. Sponsor here did them both for me (think it was SilverGhost).
