Checking foam pad conditions With free shipping on these now, this would be an excellent time to replace foam buffing pads that are worn down, falling apart or not as effective as new. Orange "light cutting/heavy polishing" and yellow "medium cutting" pads are more susceptible to this condition as compared to the softer foams.(white, gray and blue)
