looks really good what did you use to light the fender area and bumper too? Is it weather stripping.

yep, just universal weather stripping. i always hated having a nice clean engine bay, and whenever the car got wet from either washing it, or accidetally gettin caught in the rain....the engine bay would get wet and nasty again. this seals everything up.

now, with the FIPK, if i get caught in the rain everything will get wet again....but this car hardly ever sees rain anymore so its all good!

this also fixed my hood gaps. my hood is an aftermarket SS hood, and it sags a little in the middle. now that the weatherstripping is there, it push the hood higher and the line is perfect now. killed two birds with one stone.

one thing though......you MAY experience slightly warmer engine temps sicne this completely seals the engine bay. what i did to correct this was pull the piece of weatherstripping in the wiper cowl. this also had a dual purpose, bc nowi wont cut my hands up when taking the valve covers off, manifold, etc.
