Do you guys know how to take gum off the paint?

There's a product called GooGone. They sell it in Walmart, etc. I've had good success with it. It also works well on upholstry and clothing.

Apply some to a cloth and rub the gum with it. Keep rubbing and wetting the cloth. The gum should come off and then just wash that area. It's a good idea to wash and wax the car after that if you can. Hope it works for you.

Googone is amazing stuff, i use it for really sticky stuff inside and out, also use it to get rid of scuffs on plasic.

I use lighter fluid for this kind of stuff.

It seems to be real mild, yet strong enough to pull off gum and road tar.

some one spit gum on my car once, i used bug and tar remover and it came right off.

strip to bare metal, repaint the whole car.

that's the best possible result. if you have comprehensive insurance... find a body guy who says the same thing. lol.

Wax & Grease remover is all I would use personally. Should not be hard to get off.
