How do you remove pitting from painted/powder coated rims? Is it even possible.

I used a brillo pad on my Camaro's deep dish rims to get rid of them. But they werent chrome or painted, they were just steel or whatever. So make sure that wouldnt scratch your wheel up.

Try WD-40. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

would need to see some good pics to evaluate the damage if its powdercoating you are talking about.

if the powder was well cured and i am comfortable shooting new powder over it then its just a matter of sanding down the powder until the imperfections are gone, cleaning, and shooting new powder over it and curing it. i've fixed a few things that way. be glad to analyze if you can get me some pics of the problem.

I am in the chicago area, would be difficult to accomplish that i'm afraid. but i'd still be glad to evaluate any good pics of the "damage" that you wish to show me.
