Default Filled and Painted Engine bay
Guys I hated the dull look of our F-body engine bays so we decided to do some work on mine. First thing we did was weld the shock towers up mainly for strength (a lot of the stock eliminator guys do this), then we went over the welds and filled in everything to smooth the shock towers and to make everything uniform. We primered then painted and this is what we ended up with.

i was thinking of welding those up but now you said about elminator guys and now seeing how it turned out makes my decision alot easier. but looks good man

Thanks guys, really appreciate the compliments. Most of all the wires will be hidden as well, should look pretty sweet.

WOW that looks great! What is the actuall color called?
ITs part code # WA-8774 nothing fancy, just Fire Red from GM, you can get it at a local paint supplier.
Cant wait till I put the motor/tranny/rear combo in.

That's gonna be a sick *** ride. Great time to move that upper radiator support like you did too. Now how do people get everything in without scratching things up?

Now how do people get everything in without scratching things up?
With a lift we'll just raise the car and install everything from the bottom, should be pretty simple.
